Can angelfish live with German blue rams?
Yes, with care. Both are cichlids and claim territory. Give them 40 gallons or more, with caves and plants to break up the view.

If you want to try it
- Set the heater to about 81°F, in the middle of the range they share (78–84°F).
- Use a tank of at least 30 gallons, and bigger is calmer. Check the numbers with the stocking calculator.
- Add the German blue rams first, as adults, so they are too big to be eaten when the bigger fish arrive.
- Add plenty of plants and cover so every fish can get out of sight.
Good tankmates instead
